
Ronald Montminy
President and Senior Partner
Ronald Montminy has been involved in the philanthropic sector
for more
than 20 years and one of the first pioneers of fundraising in
Québec.Since 1984, he is president and senior partner of
Montminy Bédard & Associates, consultants in fundraising,
with an achievement of more than $700 million raised for non-profits.
Ronald Montminy has been personnally involved in a number of fundraising campaigns
in the health sector as well as in the education, culture, community,
social sectors.
He has undertaken many studies and developed plans and logistics
for fundraising campaigns. He is involved in all strategic plans for campaigns directed by MBA partners.Ronald Montminy is the founding co-chairperson
of the "Forum québécois sur la philanthropie".
He is a director of the Association Fundraising Professionals
(AFP - formerly NSFRE) and lectures frequently on philanthropic
trends and fund-raising strategies.
Ronald Montminy has served on many boards, including the Grand
Théâtre de Québec. He has also managed and
chaired school boards.
He holds a licence ès lettres and a master's degree in
administration.

Jean Lessard
Senior Partner
Jean Lessard has joined Montminy Bédard & Associates
in 1991. He has been involved in philanthropic endeavours for
21 years now.
He is involved in all strategic plans for fundraising campaigns directed by
MBA and has personnally undertaken a number of market surveys
and feasibility studies, and directed many campaigns, such as
the Sainte-Justine Hospital Foundation, the Total Quality Institute
and the Quebec Institute of Graphic Communications.
Before joining MBA, Jean Lessard has been the chairman of the
executive committee and chief executive officer of Centraide Montreal
from 1980 to 1991. During those years, he has managed fundraising campaigns
whose amounts raised exceeded $200 million.
Prior to his philanthropic career, Jean Lessard has been the chairman
and director general of the École nationale d'administration
publique (ENAP) and governor and member of the executive committee
of the Université du Québec.
His university education is in sciences (physics and mathematics),
in social sciences and economics.
